I've noticed that some of the best works I've done are Birthday Pieces. Birthday pieces meaning that I do them for people's birthdays as gifts, and give them away(usually) before I have the chance to scan them. Lol. I don't understand why, but I always do better on these pieces. They always turn out great! D: I'd love to take that talent and put it into my regular pieces. >:I


The one I'm working on now is on 11x14 Bristol. It is a piece for sue, for her birthday, and it looks GREAT. D: No chance I'll be getting the full in my scanner, IF I finish it before tonight.

But back on the topic.

Perhaps it's the pressure to get them right?
Perhaps it's the deadline?
Perhaps it's the subjects?
Perhaps it's the urge to put them on 11x14 and not scan them because they're too big? :o
